The Phone Link app currently only supports the ability to view images, not videos. Can I view videos that are on my Android device? We also recommend that you have the latest version of both the Phone Link app on your PC and the Link to Windows app on your Android device. If you’re still receiving an error, open the Link to Windows app on your Android device and then try deleting the photo from the Phone Link app on your PC again. In this case, try refreshing the photos page to see if your image is still displayed.

You may see this error if you have already deleted this photo on your Android device and the photo hasn’t refreshed in the Phone Link app. Why am I getting an "Unable to delete photos" error? Photos you delete in the Phone Link app will be deleted from your Android device's local storage, but won't impact any cloud backups that you may have. If there's a prompt displaying an available update, follow the instructions. Go to the Microsoft Store app, search for Phone Link, and then select the app from the results list.

If you only see 25 photos, be sure to update the Phone Link app. If you moved or saved your photos to a different folder, they will not appear in the Phone Link app. We can only show photos that are in the Camera Roll or Screenshots folders on your Android device. To minimize network bandwidth and maximize performance, we'll show your 2,000 most recent photos and screenshots from your Android device. Why can't I view all the photos on my phone? For more information, see Introducing Microsoft Phone Link and Link to Windows. In addition, the Your Phone Companion app for Android is now called Link to Windows. Note: We’ve changed the name of the Your Phone app to Microsoft Phone Link.
